Rent our Victorian house for you meeting, private party, or wedding!

Looking for a one-of-a-kind venue in the heart of Walla Walla? The Kirkman House Museum offers a stunning Victorian setting for weddings, receptions, meetings, retreats, and private parties. With its elegant parlors, lush lawn, and authentic 1880s charm, the Kirkman House creates a memorable backdrop for every occasion.

Capacity & Spaces

  • Grounds: up to 200 guests

  • Indoor Parlors:

    • 40 guests (theater seating)

    • 24 guests (single long table)

    • 40 guests (multiple tables across rooms)

    • 75 guests (standing reception)

Rental includes access from 8 am – 10 pm.

Rental Rates

Meetings, Retreats & Private Parties

  • House only: $250 for up to 3 hours

  • House only: $500 for a full day

Weddings & Receptions

  • House + Grounds: $500 per day

  • Additional staff: $25/hour (as needed)

If your event is held during regular museum hours, an additional $100 per day fee will be charged to cover closure to the public.

Included with Your Rental

  • Table rental & tablecloths (4–6 ft, 1–8 ft, 1–5 ft, 2–4 ft)

  • Limited dinnerware, glassware & flatware at no charge

  • Access to both indoor parlors and outdoor grounds (depending on rental type)

Booking Details

  • A $100 deposit is required to secure your date. Fully refundable with 30 days’ notice.

  • Renters must leave the premises clean and in good order; extra cleaning or damage will incur fees.

  • Rentals that exceed scheduled time will be billed in additional 60-minute increments.

General Policy Statement

The Kirkman House Museum (KHM), when not in use for museum sponsored or co-sponsored activities, will be made available for a fee to groups for events and activities consistent with the rules and regulations of the Kirkman House Museum and the State of Washington. KHM will not be made available to any group or organization that promotes discrimination, or has a record of discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, gender, marital status, age, sexual orientation, or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability. Permission to use the facility does not constitute an endorsement of a group's philosophies, policies or beliefs.
